The AI Solutions Product Manager is a hands-on, business-first role focused on driving real-world AI adoption across Funko. This is not a research or data science position. It is an execution and enablement role for someone who lives and breathes AI tools and is passionate about translating use cases into tangible outcomes.
You will work across Digital, Technology, Product, Operations, People & Culture, and Corporate teams to identify opportunities where AI can unlock efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and improve how work gets done. You’ll build, configure, and deploy AI solutions—particularly using ChatGPT Enterprise and Custom GPTs—and ensure those solutions are adopted and embedded into day-to-day workflows.
Success in this role means AI pilots don’t stall. They scale.
What You’ll Do
- Own the AI initiative portfolio, including intake, prioritization, resourcing, and sequencing of AI use cases across the business.
- Act as Funko’s internal expert on ChatGPT Enterprise, including building and maintaining Custom GPTs aligned to business workflows.
- Design, document, and deliver AI playbooks, prompts, templates, and best practices that teams can immediately apply.
- Partner closely with Legal, Security, Brand, HR, and IT to ensure AI usage is safe, compliant, and brand appropriate.
- Lead enablement sessions, workshops, and training to upskill teams on how to use AI effectively and responsibly.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Digital leaders to identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven efficiency and automation.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-powered solutions using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, and emerging platforms.
- Measure and communicate the impact of AI initiatives using clear business metrics (time saved, cost reduction, throughput, quality improvements).
- Turn successful pilots into standardized tools and habits embedded in everyday workflows.
- Stay current on the evolving AI landscape and proactively bring new capabilities and ideas to Funko.
- Evaluate, select, and manage AI vendors and platforms to ensure cost-effective and secure adoption.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on AI adoption, impact, risks, and roadmap.
- Establish AI governance rhythms (steering committees, standards, escalation paths).
- Personally designs, builds, and deploys AI-powered solutions before scaling them across teams
- Acts as a player-coach: creates first versions of AI workflows, then enables others to adopt and extend them.
- Accountable not just for adoption metrics, but for working AI artifacts in production.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience driving adoption of new technologies or platforms across a business, with a strong emphasis on change management and enablement.
- Hands-on experience using ChatGPT Enterprise, including creating and managing Custom GPTs for real-world business use cases.
- Practical experience working with multiple AI tools and models, such as Claude, Grok, Perplexity, and similar platforms.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts in plain language to non-technical audiences.
- A builder mindset: comfortable experimenting, iterating quickly, and learning by doing.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience partnering with Legal, Security, HR, and Brand teams.
- High level of curiosity and intrinsic motivation to stay on the leading edge of applied AI.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where not all answers are known upfront.
- Served as an expert Prompt Engineer, designing, testing, and refining high-quality prompts and prompt frameworks that consistently produce reliable, high-impact business outcomes.
- Deep passion for all things AI and a desire to make it useful, not theoretical.
- Business-outcome oriented: focused on efficiency, impact, and ROI over novelty.
- Passionate about inspiring and motivating teams while applying strong operational discipline to achieve results.
- Pragmatic and responsible approach to AI, balancing speed with safety and trust.
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability.
- Experience supporting AI initiatives in eCommerce, digital platforms, or consumer brands.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and AI evaluation methods.
- Exposure to workflow automation tools and integration.
- Experience working in Agile or product-driven environments.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $XXX - $XXX annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
